Also, she's the only one without a weapon twice her own size or clothes designed to emphasise the jiggle physics. I end up going with a Cleric, because she's easy to play and the ability to heal myself for free will save me from worrying about the cost of potions. Is wearing an awfully short skirt for someone who spends so much time jumping. I had an absolute ball with her in the demo, but I did spend a lot of time running away because her knockback is terrible. ![]() Hunter: Archery! The Hunter is unique in that almost all her attacks are ranged, with options for single-target or area-effect damage, and she gets to set traps. I've played the demo, I know a little bit about how the six jobs actually play. Well, actually, customization options like hair colour are higher up the page, but I'm doing it in this order. Then I get to choose my job from among six options ("Job" appears to be how this game refers to class, and I'm going to stick with the game's terminology). I'm here for the "action" part of "action-RPG"). But then, I've never played a game quite like this one before either, so it'll be a double learning experience (I don't do computer RPGs in general and I certainly don't usually do JRPGs. I played the demo, and was charmed by the aesthetic, the gameplay, and the fact that there's apparently no way to get locked into a sucky character build if you make some bad choices which is normally a complete deal breaker for me and RPGs. It's an updated re-release of Ragnarok Odyssey, originally for the PSP or possibly the Vita, I can't remember, and it's been described as quite similar in style to the Monster Hunter series. Ragnarok Odyssey ACE is a realtime action RPG by the developer Game Arts. ![]()
